Dear UFCW members,

The voting window for Kroger’s so-called “Last, Best, and Final” offer begins today. We have just one week (Sept. 3 – Sept. 10) to make sure each and every UFCW Houston Kroger member gets a chance to make their voice heard.

Voting is open 8 am – 8 pm at convenient locations around the area.

Why Is This Vote So Important?

    • Kroger’s offer includes cuts to your wage growth and dramatically raises your health care costs.
    • Despite ongoing negotiations, Kroger has unilaterally forced this offer into effect, so workers’ rights and benefits are already being eroded.
    • Your vote is your voice, and it is your right as a union member.

Every union member deserves to have their voice heard and their vote count. If you are a UFCW Houston Kroger member, you can take the first step and find your preferred day and location now.

Why Your Vote Matters.

One of the many reasons to vote is because of the changes Kroger has made that, for example, makes critical heart medication for this one member go from $0 under your previous union-negotiated South Central fund, to $300 under Kroger’s K Plan.

Listen to one of your fellow UFCW members why the change Kroger made matters:

Whether its healthcare or wages, voting on Kroger’s contract offer is the most important thing you can do as a union member who wants to better their lives and make Kroger a better place to work.

Thank you for everything that you do, and please make sure to vote.

Sincerely,

Brandon Hopkins
