All Restaurant Depot Members,
NOTICE of Update for the ongoing RD Bargaining; this serves to inform the Membership that since FMCS involvement in the process, the parties believe at this time there has been enough productive exchanges to warrant committing additional time to continue in our efforts to achieve reaching a MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) which can then be distributed to the Membership for review and ultimately for you all to vote upon. We are continuing to meet and negotiate with that goal in mind and as such have agreed to another 10-day extension which will expire on October 1, 2024.
It is important to note that the signed Extension Agreements include full retro-activity to the original expiration date of September 11, 2024; that is to say that whatever advancements are made will begin / go back to the original expiration date of the current CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement).
We are hopeful that the next communication will be that a MoA has been reached with details outlining the next steps for distribution. *In the unlikely event negotiations falter at all, we will advise you of that as well (LET’S STAY POSITIVE THOUGH!)
