Congratulations To Our Pilgrim’s Pride Natchitoches Members On Their Successful Ratification Of Their Improved Union Contract!!
UFCW Local 455 and Pilgrim’s Pride reached an agreement for all bargaining unit employees. Here are some of the benefit improvements included in the new contract:
- All workers will receive a general increase retro back to 2/2/23 for all hours paid and annual hourly pay increases thereafter.
- Lead premium increased.
- 2nd and 3rd shift differential increased.
- Maintenance tool reimbursement increased.
- Improved contract language requiring workers to work 21 consecutive days to 19.
- Improved safety committee language to make it equal with Union and Company committee members.
- Identified under rate workers and bargained to make those workers whole.
- Protected “over rate” workers by red circling their rate of pay in addition to contractual wage increases.
The expiration of this agreement is on February 1, 2027.
