Dear Local 455 Kroger Shreveport Members,
Your bargaining committee and Local Union leadership held a membership meeting on 2/12/25 to discuss the Company’s contract offer, and update the membership on the status of our work to get you a new, fair, Union contract.
At this meeting, rank and file members voted, unanimously, to reject the Company’s contract offer and instructed your bargaining team to go back to the table to work on putting together a contract that addresses your concerns and rewards your hard work.
We informed the Company last night of the outcome of the vote, and proposed dates to meet with the Company to continue negotiations, so the bargaining parties can put together a package your bargaining committee can support and recommend to you. As updates become available, we will continue to keep you and your coworkers updated on the status of our progress.
