Dear UFCW member,

While we are working with sister UFCW local unions across the south for solutions that keep your benefits affordable and your healthcare a priority, we need your help.

To help make clear why healthcare matters, and the real risks you face:

please record a short 90-second video message about why your union healthcare matters and what it’s like to be an essential worker during a pandemic.

• Have you noticed anything different that makes you more worried about the pandemic and the risks you face?
• Has the change in healthcare affected you? In what ways?
• How important is it for you to have union-negotiated healthcare — that you have a voice in — when it comes to your benefits?
• Can you share with us how your union-negotiated healthcare helped you or your family over the years to stay healthy and safe?

By sharing your personal story about what it’s like to face the risks of COVID-19 at work each day, and how important your healthcare is to you and your family right now, you are helping send a message that affordable healthcare is essential for essential workers like you.
