Dear UFCW member,
We would like to share with you this joint statement from your Union and Kroger:
Kroger Dallas and UFCW Local 455 Agree to Increase Wages for Shreveport/Bossier City/Palestine
May 14, 2021
Kroger Dallas and your UFCW Local 455 bargaining team started negotiations on your new clerk contract this week when we met on May 11. Our meetings were productive, and we were successful in reaching an agreement to give Shreveport/Bossier City/Palestine clerks first year wage increases effective for hours worked beginning Sunday, May 16.
Kroger Dallas and Local 455 appreciate your hard work over the last year and believe it’s more than time for you to receive the pay you have earned and deserve.
Kroger Dallas and Local 455 will continue to bargain for a comprehensive contract that will benefit our clerks for years to come, while recognizing the hard work and sacrifices already made.
We will meet again soon in the coming weeks to continue negotiations on contract language, additional wage increases for future years, and health care benefits.
We appreciate all that you do to serve customers, our communities, and each other.

Once the study begins, you’ll receive a text message every week asking you to answer a short, anonymous questionnaire.

Thank you and stay safe,
