Dear Local 455 Kroger Members,
We would like to thank each one of you who attended our picket captain training last week, we had an overwhelming amount of people who attended and volunteered to take leadership positions in your stores and your contract, and we continue to gather more every single day. In fact, we had a record-setting amount of workers who volunteered to take a stand against Kroger’s greed and unfair labor practices.
It’s been a long fight with the Kroger Company, and it’s a shame that the company still refuses to accept and sign your Tentative Agreement that we reached last December.
Kroger is holding up your Contract, your money, your dignity, and your respect!!
We need YOU to stand up for a better contract and now is that time!! Keep in mind that YOU took care of the company during a worldwide pandemic, and continue to do so. Now it’s time for the Kroger company to show you the same!
If you would like to become a picket captain Text “CPT455” to 83071 to sign up to be a Picket Captain at your store. It’s never too late to serve and support your Union. Please encourage your fellow co-workers to come out and take a stand to fight for an affordable stable healthcare, competitive wages, reliable benefits and the types of jobs that you deserve.
