Congratulations to JST workers who ratified a new three-year agreement that protected their zero cost in healthcare, protected and funded their pension, added wage increases for each year with backpay and add more funeral benefits.
Highlights of the new contract include:
- Preserved and protected employee zero cost healthcare
- Funded and secured pension
- Wage increases retro-active to expiration of CBA
- Guaranteed wage increases for each year of the contract
- Lump Sum Bonus
- Additional sick day
- Added new optional workweek 12 hour shifts 3 days/week with guaranteed 40 hours pay
- Language to make sure job position criteria is clear to employees
- Offer training for employees that wish to bid into a different classification in accordance with seniority
- Extended paid break times
