Congratulations to House of Raeford, Arcadia workers who overwhelmingly ratified a new three-year agreement that secured new wage increases with retro pay, made hazard pay permanent, added extra holidays and vacation pay, attendance bonus and a one-time ratification bonus.
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- Extended paid break times
- Made Hazard pay permanent
- Wage increases with retro to expiration of the CBA
- Guaranteed wage increases for each year of the contract
- Increased thigh room incentive pays
- Introduced an hourly attendance incentive premium
- Introduced seniority rate premiums for workers with more than 5 years
- New personal holiday
- Increased overnight premium
- Improved attendance policy
- Additional vacation week
