Congratulations Sanderson Farms Members On Their New Wage Increases at both Hammond and Brazos facilities!
UFCW Local 455 and Sanderson Farms reached an agreement to increase wages for all bargaining unit employees and to improve the vacation and attendance language in the contract.
- The increase that was scheduled for January 2nd, 2022 was agreed upon to be moved up to take effect immediately
- Employees with two or more weeks of vacation time will be able to take up to one week of vacation, in one day increments.
- Improved attendance rules which are more lenient for workers. Everyone will now receive a ½ absence (point) for being up to two hours late; Instead of receiving ½ absence (point) for being late after thirty minutes late.
