All Pilgrim’s Pride Nacogdoches Members,
Before leaving the last bargaining session on August 28th, we agreed to meet with the Company on September 15, 2026, in Nacogdoches, TX. However, on September 14th, the Company canceled the meeting. We raised our concerns with the NLRB and filed an Unfair Labor Practice Charge. Since then, we attempted to contact the Company multiple times (9/14, 9/15, and 9/17), even reaching out to their HQ in Greeley, Colorado. Only after this did a Company representative return our call, but no rescheduled bargaining date or counteroffer was presented. We will notify you once a new bargaining date is confirmed with the Company. We are calling on our members to join the Local’s informational picket campaign and attend the next open bargaining session, please reach out to your Union representatives Oscar Martinez and Rydell Cummings to participate. Below is the letter that was sent to the Company today, we’re providing it to you to be transparent and open about what is going on at the bargaining table.
In Solidarity,
Your Union Bargaining Committee and Local Union President W. Brandon Hopkins
