Kroger 2020 Negotiations Merger Proposal

Since the merger of Local 455 and Local 408 we have strived to keep these contracts separate. A certified meat cutter is trained and skilled in their craft and should not be asked to do the job of a cashier. Similarly, a cashier should not be pulled from the front end to stock meat in the meat department. Merging the contracts will give Kroger complete control over tasks performed without regard to your job classification or your skills. We have job classifications for a reason.
