All Pilgrim’s Pride Nacogdoches workers,

Your Local Union held a vote on the Company’s Final Offer on July 16, 2026, at the Hampton Inn in Nacogdoches, TX. At the meeting, your coworkers sent a loud and clear message to the Company to do better by voting to reject the Company’s Final Offer and by voting to give the Local Union Bargaining Committee strike authority.

While your Bargaining Committee has received strike authorization from the membership, and we have made the Company aware of that, we are not calling for a strike at this time, but are instead calling on the Company to return to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair offer that fully rewards your hard work and is recommended by your Local Union and Bargaining Committee.

Your Local Union leadership notified the Company of the outcome of the vote and has agreed to meet with the Company on August 20 and August 27, 2026 to continue to bargain a strong contract for you and your families. We will keep you posted on the status of future dates and if we need to take additional steps. For those of you who have not yet cast your vote to give your Local Union Bargaining Committee strike authority, you can do so here or by clicking the link below code below and support your fellow coworkers.

Our goal has been the same since the beginning: to negotiate a fair contract that fully rewards your hard work. Let’s continue to call on the Company to do the right thing!

If you have any questions about the status of bargaining, or if you want to get more involved with your Union, please reach out to your Union staff assigned to your unit, Oscar Martinez or Rydell Cummings.

Working together we can and will make Pilgrim’s Pride Nacogdoches a better place to work.

In Solidarity,

Your Union Bargaining Committee and your Local Union President

W. Brandon Hopkins
