All Pilgrim’s Pride Nacogdoches workers,
Your Union bargaining team met with the Company leadership on 10/5/26 in Nacogdoches, Texas. We pushed the Company to resolve the areas of concern our membership has with the offer that was rejected by the membership on 7 /16/26. We did not reach an agreement this session, but we have agreed to meet with the Company again on 10/27 /26 (that is the soonest they are available).
Why is this taking so long? – because the Company is not bargaining in good faith and wants you to accept less than you deserve!
This week, the Company offered .10 more cents to their offer without resolving any other areas of concern or offering anything additional that would provide you and your families a stronger package to vote on. We made clear to the Company that the Union membership did not reject the Company’s offer because it was missing only 10 .cents.
In this last session, we asked the Company to give us a Final offer to vote, but the Company refused to provide one.
While we await our next bargaining date with the Company, it is important we stick together and work together to send a strong message to the Company to stop delaying bargaining and provide you with a fair contract offer to vote on that rewards your hard work!
If you would like to bring bargaining to an end & participate in our informational picket campaign or attend the next bargaining session, please contact your Union Representatives Oscar Martinez and Rydell Cummings.
In Solidarity,
Your Union Bargaining Committee and your Local Union President W. Brandon Hopkins
