Major Change to Kroger Payroll Process

I write to all of you to make sure our Local 455 Kroger membership is aware of a major change the company is making to your regular payroll process. The Kroger company formally notified the Local on July 15 that, as of November 1^st of this year, they will no longer be paying any employee working for the company with paper checks.  They are mandating direct deposit or plastic pay card.

It is important that the word gets around to all of our brothers and sisters that we made clear to the company that we are requesting bargaining.
