UFCW Local 455 and the Kroger Company met two days last week on July 28th and July 29th to resume bargaining on your new contract.
Both bargaining committees made some movement during these sessions and we will continue to inform and educate you throughout the process! Your Union will continue fighting for Hazard Pay, security and stability in the South Central Trust Fund, preventing a Clerk and Meat contract merger, improving wages over the life of the contract, and much more!
We have heard you loud and clear in the stores that affordable healthcare is one of the top priorities in negotiations. We know your current South Central Trust Fund is important for you and your families! Remember, it is your hard work that keeps the company successful and you deserve to get a great contract that we can all be proud of!
Your Union has scheduled additional bargaining dates for the Kroger Houston Clerk and Meat clerk contracts on August 4-5 and August 11-12.
There is a contract extension in place for the Houston Meat and Clerk contract until August 15th, and all Kroger Louisiana Contracts until August 29th!
