All Houston and Louisiana Kroger Meat Members,
Your Local Union is pleased to announce that the proposed changes to the Kroger Meat VAPP Pension Plan have officially passed.
In-person voting was held on September 10 and 11, 2025, in Houston and League City, and on September 15 and 16, 2025, in Lake Charles, LA and Shreveport, LA. Additional online voting was available through September 28, 2025, to ensure every eligible member had the chance to participate. After the close of voting, the majority of members overwhelmingly voted in favor of the proposed updates to future pension benefits.
We thank all members who took the time to cast their vote and make their voices heard. Further details on the implementation of these changes will be shared soon.
