All Pilgrim’s Pride Nacogdoches Members,
After discussion with your Local Union bargaining committee and your Union leadership, your Local Union will be moving the membership meeting & strike authorization vote, that was previously scheduled for December 17, 2025, to January 9, 2026, at the Comfort Suites located at 3429 South St. Nacogdoches, TX. Furthermore, your Union bargaining committee has decided, beginning December 17, 2025, to commence our strike authorization vote via electronic ballot, so all Pilgrims Nacogdoches members can begin voting immediately.
We understand how important it is for you and your co-workers to have the ability to support your family, and we take those concerns seriously. We are not calling for a strike, at this time, but only authorization for the bargaining committee, which is made up of rank and file members working at Pilgrims Pride, just like you. The company has failed to provide meaningful proposals or a final offer, that would properly improve your benefits or increase your take home pay, after many months of bargaining.
With that vote, you can help authorize the bargaining committee with strike authority and send a clear message to Pilgrim Pride that you deserve a strong contract with wage increases. In the meantime, we will continue to set more bargaining dates with the company and work toward a negotiated settlement for everyone. Your Union representatives will be in the plant to assist those that need help voting electronically.
