Dear Foster Farms Members,
After eleven months of hard bargaining, including the membership vote to authorize a strike, and your support for your Union, your negotiating team is proud to announce we have reached a tentative agreement (TA) with Foster Farms Management. That TA has earned the support of your bargaining committee and Local Union for a new 3-year CBA, and resolves all of the outstanding Unfair Labor Practice charges and pending grievance arbitrations.
The new tentative agreement also resolves many outstanding issues between the bargaining parties, such as resolving the missing wage increase that was not paid as part of the last contract; the attendance policy changes and terminations that were tied to the unilateral policy change; supervisor treatment of employees; plant safety; future wage increases; and, other improvements, in a new 3-year agreement that will make Foster Farms Farmerville a better place to work.
Ratification voting is scheduled to be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Foster Farms Fresh Side training room. We encourage all members to participate in voting on your new contract offer. Please attend the meeting so you can understand the full contract offer and its benefits before you vote.
Thank you for serving our communities and for being patient during the bargaining process, your support made this possible.
In Solidarity,
Your Foster Farms Bargaining Committee & Local Union President Brandon Hopkins
