Walter Bailey services Rice and Kroger stores located in the surrounding areas south and southwest of Houston. He has been a Local 455 union member for over 37 years. Prior to joining the staff in 1996, Walter was employed with Weingarten’s and Rice Food Markets for a combined total of 30 years.

Cedrick Burns is the Union Representative for Kroger stores located in areas east of Houston. He worked for Kroger in Conroe, TX from 2002 until he joined the staff of Local 455 in 2004. During his short tenure with Kroger, Cedrick served as Union Steward.

Pam Edgerley
Pam Edgerley assists the Local Union as an in-house Union Representative. Pam’s union background began when she became a member of Local 455 almost 34 years ago. She was employed with Kroger and Rice Food Markets for a combined 16 years. During that time Pam was a Union Steward, served on negotiation committees during contract bargaining and assisted the Local Union in organizing and membership servicing; as well as serving as Vice President of the Executive Board from 1984 to 1989. Pam joined the staff of Local 455 full time in April 1989.

Raymond Edmonds is the Union Representative servicing poultry and fish processing plants in Northeast Louisiana. During Raymond’s employment at ConAgra Farmerville, he assisted the Local Union in various capacities before joining the staff of Local 455 in 2003.

James Farmer services the Kroger stores in the Southwest area of Houston. He has been on Local 455’s staff since December, 2000. Prior to his employment, James worked at Kroger 109 in Clute Texas for 8 years. During that time he served as Union Steward and assisted the Local Union as a SPUR Representative.

Garrick Gise
Garrick Gise services the Kroger stores located in the Southeast area of Houston; as well as Arlan's and Jacob Sterns. He joined the staff of Local 455 in 1996 as a SPUR and assisted the Local Union in organizing. Garrick's dedication and commitment to the Labor Movement was instrumental in the organizing win with Nan Ya Plastics in Batchelor, Louisiana.

Chris Hendley
Chris Hendley services the Kroger stores located in the inner city of Houston. He began his union career in 2003 working at Kroger 742 in Conroe, TX. In June, 2008 Chris became a SPUR Representative assisting the Local Union as a Special Project Union Representative prior to his employment with the Local Union in January, 2009.

Linda Holmes is the Union Representative servicing Kroger stores in north Houston, Bryan, College Station, Conroe and Huntsville. Prior to joining the staff of Local 455 in 1994, Linda worked for Kroger for 9 years. She assisted the membership as Union Steward and as Vice President of the Executive Board, a position she still holds.

Brandon Hopkins services the Kroger stores located in East Houston from Channelview to Porter, TX. He joined the union while working part-time at Kroger during High School. Before coming on staff in April 2008, Brandon worked for Local 455 as a Special Project Union Representative (SPUR).

Roel Perez is the Union Representative servicing Kroger stores in the west area of Houston. Prior to joining the staff at Local 455 in January, 2004, Roel was employed at Kroger for 16 years and was the Union Steward at his store location.

Shirley Rome is the Union Representative for southern Louisiana servicing retail, meat, poultry, warehousing and manufacturing. In 1986, Shirley went to work as a secretary for Local 210 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was promoted as Union Representative after the merger with Local 455.

Barry Youngblood
Barry Youngblood is the Union Representive for Northwestern Louisiana and East Texas. He services Kroger, Custom Foods and Pilgrims Pride Natchitoches. Barry became a union member in October 2001 while working at Pilgrim's Pride in Shreveport LA. Prior to coming on staff in September 2007, Barry worked for Local 455 as a Special Project Union Representative (SPUR).
