William H. Hopkins

Bill, a 32 year union member of Local 455 was elected as President of Local 455 in December, 1993. His commitment to the membership has found him in many areas of labor activity, including serving as an Organizer, Union Representative and Field Director to the President, processing grievances, arbitrations, negotiating union contracts and serving as Trustee for the Atlanta Pension Fund and South Central H & W Trust Fund. In addition to providing leadership to Local 455, Bill proudly serves as Vice President on the UFCW International Executive Board; as well as, Vice President of several organizations including UFCW Minority Coalition, United Latinos of UFCW, UFCW Region 5 Council and the United council of UFCW.

Rick Alleman

Rick started his career with Kroger, Baton Rouge at age 17. He was elected as Vice President of UFCW Local 1691’s Executive Board in 1978 and continued in that capacity with merged Local 210. He joined the staff of Local 210 and was later elected as Secretary Treasurer in 1993 and continues to serve as Secretary Treasurer after merging with Local 455. Rick has served the UFCW membership at every level. In addition to his position as Executive Assistant to the President, Rick also negotiates some of the Collective Bargaining Agreements for the Local Union and serves as Trustee for the South Central H & W Trust Fund.

Miles Anderson

Miles Anderson has served Local 455 membership for over 18 years. He started his career at Kroger 986 in Conroe, TX in 1979 and later joined the staff of Local 455 in 1988 as an Organizer. Miles was elected to the Executive Board as Recorder in 1995 and has assisted Local 455 as Organizer, Union Representative, Field Director and Executive Assistant to the President. He has been involved with handling third step grievances, arbitrations and negotiations. Miles is currently working as the Organizing Director and has been successful in winning organizing campaigns during the past year.

Sue Mann

Sue began her career with Kroger 109 in Clute, TX in 1976 and has been a union member for nearly 30 years. Prior to Sue’s employment with Local 455 in 1994 as a Union Representative, she was the Union Steward for her store, served as a negotiation committee member during contract negotiations and was appointed as Vice President of the Executive Board in the early 1990’s. Sue’s job as Special Assistant to the President oversees the Union Representatives in Texas, handles all 3^rd step grievances and arbitrations and assists with Kroger contract negotiations.

Field Director

Rosendo Dominguez

In 1973, Rosendo started his career with Kroger in Corpus Christi, TX and transferred to Kroger in Houston, TX in 1986. He has been a union member with Local 455 for the past 33 years. Prior to joining the staff of Local 455 in 1997, Rosendo assisted his union as Union Steward and as a SPUR Representative. Rosendo was appointed to the Executive Board in 2003.Currently he holds the position of Field Director, overseeing the servicing representatives in Louisiana and northeast Texas. Rosendo assists with membership, grievances and contract negotiations in Louisiana.

Debbie Edwards

Debbie Edwards has been employed with Local 455 for the past 27 years and has served in many different areas of union operations through the years. Debbie is responsible for all accounting procedures and manages the office staff.
