The mission of the leadership of UFCW Local 455 is to provide the best possible workplace representation for our members in Texas and Louisiana. This requires negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements with improvements in wages, benefits, and working conditions, along with assuring you of dignity, justice and respect on the job. We pledge to work to better the lives of our members by actively participating in organizing new members so they too can enjoy the benefits of belonging to a union. We pledge to take an active role in fighting anti-union legislation by supporting laws that help to improve your jobs. We make it our priority to protect your rights in the workplace, in the community, and in the political process. We strive to promote unity among all workers by supporting diversity. We continually strive for solidarity among all unions so that we may stand as one to better the quality of life for everyone.
